Graham Lestourgeon

Graham was a 2004 Recipient of the “4 Avenues Of Service Award”
Graham is the Rotarian that took the initiative to set up the Grove City Foundation as a 401C(3).
He was a member of the Texas Pioneers Association, and the Columbus and Grove City Rotary clubs. He founded the Grove City Rotary Club Foundation.
He retired in 1997 as president and CEO of the Volunteers of America of Central Ohio for 23 years, and he served on the Volunteers of America national board for six years. He operated a sheltered workshop and shelter for homeless alcoholic men which could take men off the street, and then to work, thereby making them self-sufficient. He established the first family shelter in Columbus that included the whole family in private apartments. He also established a free store-front walk-in computer learning center in Franklinton and a community center focusing on free literacy, math and computer skills in Dayton. As part of the VOA's thrift stores operation, he initiated and developed the collection of donated used cars and their resale as a major fund-raising technique for hundreds of charities throughout the United States.
